LLANBERIS PATH
Distance: 9 miles (14½Km) (there & back).
Ascent: 3,199ft (975 metres).
Time: About 6 hours (there & back).
Grade: Hard Mountain Walk.
The Llanberis Path is the longest route to the summit, and has the shallowest gradient. It follows the line of the Snowdon Mountain Railway, and according to "wiki" it is considered the easiest and least interesting route to the summit of Snowdon. (not sure I would agree with the 2nd point)
It is the route used by the annual Snowdon Race, with a record time of less than 40 minutes recorded from the start to the summit.
